>How will travel be arranged?

Each athlete is respon
sible for arranging their own travel to Canberra and making their own booki
ngs. Athletes must arrive to Canberra by 1 pm on the 14th January and can
leave after lunch on 17th January 2027. Of course\, JA wants to make sur
e that athletes are safe when travelling to and from the camp\, so once ath
lete invitations are finalised everyone will be given contact details of ot
her athletes and parents who are attending the camp from their local area.Â
This will allow parents to coordinate flight bookings\, bus tickets or ca
r-pooling to allow athletes to travel together. If one of the coaches for
the camp is from your state\, they will also help with this coordination p
rocess. JA will arrange for athletes to be picked up from Canberra airpor
t or coach station by an adult staff member or coach.

Who wil
l be coaching at the camp?

The camp will be run by four coac
hes selected from around Australia who are experienced in coaching State le
vel athletes. All coaches have Working with Children checks and are certi
fied to safely look after children.

Does attending the ca
mp mean I will be more likely to be selected to represent Australia in the
future?

No\, it will be educational and fun. Our aim is fo
r you to learn but attendance has no bearing on selection in the future.</p
